Quick answer
If you signed up on the Paramount+ website, a smart TV or a game console, go to paramountplus.com, click your username, select Account, then scroll down and click Cancel subscription. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Prime Video Channels or Apple TV Channels, cancel with that company instead. Paramount's Terms of Use say you keep access until the end of the current billing period, or the end of a free trial, and you will not be refunded for fees you have paid.
How to cancel Paramount+ on the website
- Go to paramountplus.com and click your username in the upper right corner.
- Click Account.
- Scroll down and click Cancel subscription.
Paramount+ says to use these steps if you signed up on the web, on a smart TV such as LG, Vizio or Samsung, or on a game console such as Xbox or PlayStation. If you can't log in, it says to open the chat on its Help Center homepage and type Agent.
If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon or Roku
Paramount+ says that if you subscribed on another billing platform, you need to return to that platform to cancel. Use the steps for the company that bills you.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Paramount+, then tap Cancel Subscription and Confirm. Apple says that if there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled.
- Apple TV (4th generation and later): open Settings, select Users & Accounts and your account, then Subscriptions. Choose Paramount+ and select Cancel Subscription. Paramount+ notes you can only edit subscriptions for apps installed on that Apple TV.
- Android phone, tablet or TV: on a phone or computer, go to g.co/play/subscriptions, select Paramount+ and select Cancel subscription. Paramount+ says uninstalling the app on an Android TV does not cancel, and you need a phone or computer to cancel.
- Fire TV or Amazon: go to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and sign in. Next to Paramount+, select Actions, then Cancel your subscription. Amazon's help page also lists subscriptions under Your Memberships and Subscriptions.
- Roku: on the home screen, highlight the Paramount+ app, press the star button on the remote, select Manage Subscription and choose to cancel. Roku's own steps call this Turn off auto-renew, and you can also do it at my.roku.com/subscriptions. Our Roku subscriptions guide explains which charges Roku bills.
- Prime Video Channels: in Prime Video, go to Account & Settings, select Your subscriptions, find the Paramount+ channel and select Unsubscribe.
- Apple TV Channels: on your Apple TV, go to Settings, then Users and Accounts, your name and Subscriptions. Select Paramount+ and follow the onscreen steps.
If you get Paramount+ through Walmart+
Paramount+ says Walmart+ includes the ad-supported Paramount+ Essential plan at no extra cost, and that upgrades are managed in your Walmart account under Account, Walmart+ and Manage Plan.
- Walmart's terms say you can cancel your Walmart+ membership or a Paramount+ Premium plan through Account and Walmart+ in your Walmart account, or by calling Walmart Customer Care. You keep the benefit until the end of the term.
- If you already paid Paramount+ directly and want the Walmart+ benefit, Paramount+ says you must first cancel your existing subscription and wait until the end of that billing cycle. Until you cancel, you can end up paying for both.
What happens after you cancel
- You keep access until the cancellation takes effect. For free trials that is the end of the trial. At all other times, including with a promotional offer, it is the end of your current billing period.
- Paramount's Terms of Use say you will not be refunded for any fees you have paid, though the law may entitle you to a refund in certain cases. If Paramount gives a refund or credit once, it does not have to do so again.
- Gift card credit already applied to your account cannot be withdrawn. It stays on the account for a future subscription unless you delete the account, in which case the balance is forfeited.
- Downloaded titles expire when you cancel, and add-ons may end when the subscription expires.
- If an app store or Roku bills you, its rules apply. Roku says it does not give partial-term refunds. Paramount's terms say that if you delete your account in an app, you lose access right away and get no refund from Paramount, though you can ask the app store.
Confirm the cancellation
- On an iPhone or iPad, open Subscriptions again. Paramount+ and Apple both say a missing Cancel Subscription button means the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.
- If you can't find Paramount+ in Apple subscriptions, Apple suggests searching your email for "receipt from Apple" to see which Apple Account was charged.
- Not sure who bills you? Apple says to check the merchant name on your bank or card statement and contact that company.
- Check your statement after your next billing date. If a Paramount+ charge still appears, our guide to unexpected and duplicate charges covers what to ask.
Check for other streaming charges

Frequently asked questions
Paramount+ cancellation FAQ
Will Paramount+ refund the rest of my month if I cancel?
Usually not. Paramount's Terms of Use say you will not be refunded for fees you have paid, although the law may entitle you to a refund in certain cases. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Why can't I find the cancel option on paramountplus.com?
You probably signed up through another billing platform. Paramount+ says that if you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon or Roku, you need to go back to that platform to cancel. The same applies to Prime Video Channels and Apple TV Channels.
Does deleting the Paramount+ app cancel my subscription?
No. Paramount+ says uninstalling the app on an Android TV does not cancel your subscription, and Google Play says the same for any app. Cancel on paramountplus.com or with the store or partner that bills you.
When does a Paramount+ cancellation take effect?
For a free trial, at the end of the trial. Otherwise, at the end of your current billing period, including when a promotional offer applies. You can keep watching until then.
How do I cancel Paramount+ that came with Walmart+?
Manage it in your Walmart account under Account and then Walmart+. Walmart's terms say you can cancel the Paramount+ Premium plan or your Walmart+ membership there or by calling Walmart Customer Care, and you keep the benefit until the end of the term.
Can I come back to Paramount+ after cancelling?
Yes. Paramount+ says you can resubscribe at any time by signing in on paramountplus.com or in the app with the email address and password you used before, then choosing a plan.
