Quick answer

To cancel Fubo, use the company that manages your subscription. If you signed up on Fubo’s website, cancel from your Fubo account and continue until you see the confirmation page. If Roku, Apple, or Google Play bills you, cancel through that platform instead. Save the confirmation and the date your access ends.

Find who bills your Fubo subscription

Start with the receipt or statement descriptor rather than the device where you watch Fubo. The company that holds the active subscription record normally controls the cancellation. If the billing owner is unclear, use our subscription cancellation guide to check app stores, streaming platforms, carriers, and direct merchant accounts.

  1. Sign in to Fubo and check the account or subscription controls.
  2. Check my.roku.com/subscriptions for an active Fubo plan.
  3. Check Apple Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  4. Check subscriptions in Google Play and switch Google Accounts if needed.
  5. Search email for a Fubo, Roku, Apple, or Google receipt.

Deleting the Fubo app, removing a payment method, or signing out does not prove the subscription ended.

Cancel Fubo when Fubo bills you directly

Fubo says the cancellation steps depend on how you signed up and that every step must be completed. Sign in to the account used to subscribe, open the subscription or cancellation controls, and continue past any plan-change or retention offer if you still want to cancel.

Select Cancel Subscription to complete the request. Save the confirmation page and access-end date. Review Fubo’s current cancellation instructions before acting because account screens can change.

  1. Sign in to the Fubo account used to subscribe.
  2. Open the account’s subscription or cancellation controls.
  3. Continue through the cancellation flow.
  4. Select Cancel Subscription to finish.
  5. Save the confirmation page and access-end date.

Fubo says a cancelled free trial ends immediately. A cancelled paid subscription generally remains available through the current billing period.

Cancel Fubo through Roku

If Roku manages the subscription, cancel through Roku rather than Fubo. Online, open Roku subscriptions, find Fubo, and select Unsubscribe or Turn off auto-renew. Confirm the request.

On a Roku device, open the full Apps section, highlight Fubo, press the Star button, and select Manage subscription. Choose the cancellation or auto-renew option and confirm. Roku notes that Quick Access may not show Manage subscription.

See the full Roku subscription guide for billing-owner and statement-descriptor details.

Cancel Fubo through Apple

If there is no Cancel button or Apple shows an expiration message in red, the subscription may already be cancelled. If Fubo is missing, search for an Apple receipt and confirm which Apple Account made the purchase.

Apple recommends cancelling free or discounted trials at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Read Apple’s current instructions.

  1. Open Settings on the iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Fubo.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancel Fubo through Google Play

Google states that uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription. Access generally continues through the time already paid, subject to the subscription terms.

See Google Play’s current guidance.

  1. Open subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Make sure the correct Google Account is selected.
  3. Choose Fubo.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription.
  5. Follow the instructions and save the confirmation.

Free trials, final charges, and refunds

Do not assume a free trial ends automatically. Check the trial-end date and cancel through the billing owner before its stated deadline. Fubo says a directly billed free trial ends immediately when cancelled, while a paid plan generally continues through the current billing period.

Refund eligibility varies by billing owner, plan, timing, location, and current policy. Cancellation stops a future renewal; it does not guarantee that a completed charge will be refunded. Contact the company shown on the receipt or statement and ask for the decision in writing.

Save proof and check the next statement

Review the next bank or card statement. If a charge appears after the confirmed end date, contact the billing owner with the proof and ask for a written explanation.

Frequently asked questions

Fubo cancellation questions

Can I cancel Fubo from the app?

Use the billing account’s subscription controls. Do not assume deleting or signing out of the app cancels the subscription.

Does Fubo stop immediately after cancellation?

Fubo says a directly billed free trial ends immediately. A cancelled paid subscription generally remains available until the current billing period ends. Roku, Apple, and Google Play may apply their own subscription terms.

How do I know whether Roku bills me for Fubo?

Check my.roku.com/subscriptions and the statement descriptor. If Fubo appears as an active Roku subscription, manage it through Roku.

Why can’t I find Fubo in Apple or Google Play?

The subscription may use another Apple or Google Account, or Fubo may bill you directly. Search receipts and check the statement descriptor.

Will Fubo refund my last charge?

A refund is not automatic. Eligibility depends on who billed you and the applicable policy. Ask the billing owner directly and keep the response.

Can Compass+ cancel Fubo for me?
